Supporters Direct Shield

The Supporters Direct Shield is an annual, pre-season friendly football competition established by Supporters Direct, the organisation that seeks to increase supporter representation in football.[1].[2].

The Shield is competed for between supporter-owned clubs. The inaugural winners of the Shield were Scarborough Athletic who beat Merthyr Town 2-0 on 24 July 2010 at AFC Telford[3].
